Between Valencia and Benidorm, we find a beautiful place: the Fuentes de Algar. This place is perfect to enjoy a hot summer day because of its cold waters. The place is full of beauty and its nature allows you to relax and have a lot of fun thanks to its waterfalls and wooden bridges.

Detailed description

The place is a jewel and allows you to enjoy a lot: you can swim, dive, jump from a cliff, get lost in its beautiful nature with waterfalls, pue, wooden bridges and natural pools or just relax. Moreover, this area is very well preserved and has all the facilities, such as a picnic area, public toilets. Algar in Arabic means cave and is a 1.5 km long circuit that follows the course of the Algar river and features many beautiful waterfalls. Along the route you will come across “tolls” which are crystal clear water pools where it is possible to bathe. In the past the pools were considered to be a source of health because of their pure water.

Canyoning

Dare to descend one of the best water canyons in the Valencian Community, with natural slides, jumps, three rappelling descents, many unique pools, … The descent of ravines ends with a descent of 20 meters by an impressive waterfall.

It is only 4km from Fuentes del Algar and after the activity (3 hours) you can go to Fuentes del Algar and enjoy the rest of the day.
